Process

Production of the camper assembly starts with payment of a non-refundable 10% deposit via Visa, MasterCard or check.  This payment secures a conversion reservation in our schedule, and allows us to begin production of your parts.

 

Schedule

We are committed to building high-quality vehicles that exceed expectations. The turn-around for an Ursa Minor Vehicles ECAMPER™ is approximately 3-4 weeks from order date depending on season and our order backlog.   

 

Typically, a customer drops off an Element Monday morning.  Our team installs your camper pop top and any other options in five days at our San Diego facility and your finished ECAMPER™ will be ready on Friday afternoon. 

 

Logistics

The Element needs to visit San Diego for conversion, even if you can't!  How might that work?

  • Drive to San Diego, spend a week on vacation, drive an Ecamper home

  • Drive to San Diego, fly home, fly back on Friday, drive an Ecamper home

  • Ship an Element to San Diego, fly in, drive an Ecamper home

  • Drive to San Diego, fly home, ship an Ecamper home

  • Ship an Element to San Diego, ship an Ecamper home

We've had cars come from as far away  as Alaska, Florida and New York! 

 

The San Diego Trolley stop is a block away with a connecting bus to the airport, while both Avis and Enterprise have rental locations less than a mile away.  For planning, we are about 20 minutes from the San Diego Airport by cab.

 

If you reside outside of Southern California and are considering shipping, specific rates vary depending on distance, date, and method of shipment. Choices range from hiring a driver to deciding between open or enclosed trailers, or ship it one way and then drive it home. Please call us and we'll be happy to help you evaluate the options.

 

The most common choice for those outside California is to plan a vacation around the installation and enjoy the beaches and scenery of Southern California or the beautiful Baja peninsula afterwards in your new ECAMPER.™
